Antigua Slipway - New cradles delivered!

Back from 3 weeks in English Harbour Antigua with the best team in #cornwall

4 cradles with a capacity of over 200t, a new era begins for the Antigua Slipway yard, once known by the Royal Navy as St Helena.

11months after the initial enquiry we have delivered and assembled over 40t of steelwork to rejuvenate the yard's famous marine railway.

Falmouth to Falmouth, Cornwall to Antigua.

Designed by John Wells, built by Consolidated Shipyard (1930)

for Jon Barrett Associates

JGNA Ltd. provided this extensive restoration project with rig design, spar design & build supervision, anchor arrangement & deck drawings as well as the design of paserelle, boarding ladders & tender launching arrangement.

In addition to design services, JGNA Ltd. was commissioned to carry out historical research on the history of this classic vessel for the production of a private publication.
