Hailing from the East Coast of the UK and Aldeburgh in Suffolk, Jack has been based in Cornwall since 2013 and has worked with some of the country’s leading yachting firms before creating Jack Gifford Naval Architect Ltd.
Growing up around Metre Yachts and the rivers of East Anglia triggered an early interest in boat design. Jack’s background of long-distance sailing and yacht racing brings added expertise to his work which translates into unique and timeless designs. Working and sailing since provided a diverse set of projects with the focus remaining steadfast on beautiful, functional yachts and creative design.
