Fal24
To The Sea Falmouth Ltd and the FAL Tender Co are working in collaboration with Jack Gifford Marine Design Studio in the development, design and build of the FAL24 Hybrid tender prototype.
The FAL24 is an initiative investigating the use of hybrid drive systems specifically adapted to vessels ranging from 7 to 20 metres. Designed to go further and allowing boats to operate in the low-and-zero emission zones. The hybrid configuration brings with it additional benefits, including lower noise, vibrations and running costs.
a versatile hybrid motor launch.
Design and the integration of hybrid technology
The FAL Tender Co is initiating the research and development stages of the FAL24 project, which supports the increasing demand for a modern classic hybrid day launch and superyacht tender offering simplicity and functionality while utilizing new technologies in materials and power.
An innovative boat design combining both a motor and generator function in one hybrid unit – a product, that can be installed on all engine and drive system combinations.
As a proof of concept to the industry and public alike, the FAL24 is working to fill a gap in the yachting industry, producing a versatile hybrid motor launch for both commercial and private purpose.
